It is my great pleasure and deep sense of appreciation to all those who have worked tirelessly to see this well deserved global image of the University of Ibadan captioned this way for all to see and contribute to. This is a great plus for the incumbent Vice-Chancellor and all members of the University Management at this time. One should really thank the people directly working on this project right now under the leadership of the Director of the Office of International Programmes, Dr. Mrs. Udegbe, for a job really well done. I am personally very impressed to see this posting on the web this morning as I work from my desk in Monrovia, Liberia. The faith of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation in the University of Ibadan has surely continued to materialize for good in all aspects. Ibadan has really been fortunate at this time in her history once again. On this note, may I personally appreciate the person of the Chairman, University of Ibadan Internationalization Strategic Planning Committee, the incumbent MacArthur Grant Liaison Officer for a committed, steady and calm disposition towards the planning and execution of the internationalization programme. This is a good job done by the leadership of the University of Ibadan - our proud heritage. We thank you all for making us proud. Long live the premier University! May your light shine to the farthest parts of the earth for good and for grace. Amen
